The new CEO of Kenya Airways Virtual, Momodou Jack, has officially opened new routes to Riyadh, Doha and Abu Dhabi. Additionally, more flights to Entebbe have been added due to increased passenger demand.
Flights to Riyadh are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will depart Nairobi at 0700am and arrive at 1100am. The return flight departs from Riyadh at 1230pm and arrives in Nairobi at 1700pm.
Flights to Abu Dhabi are available on Tuesdays and Saturdays and will depart Nairobi at 0700am and arrive at 1115am. The return flight departs from Abu Dhabi at 1230pm and arrives in Nairobi at 1715pm.
Flights to Doha are available on Thursdays and Sundays and will depart Nairobi at 0700am and arriva at 1130am. The return flight departs from Doha at 1230pm and arrives in Nairobi at 1730pm.
The additional flights to Entebbe are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. These flights depart from Nairobi at 1800pm and arrive at 1900pm. The return flight departs from Entebbe at 2000pm and arrive back in Nairobi at 2100pm.
All the flights will be serviced by a Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
In an interview, Momodou Jack said that “Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Doha are increasingly gaining popularity from our travellers and pilots. Demand to these destinations are high, therefore Kenya Airways Virtual believes that the routes will be lucrative. Additionally, the increase in passenger demand to Entebbe has resulted in Kenya Airways Virtual offering 3 more weekly flights to the capital city of Uganda.”
The CEO continued to say that “as the new CEO of Kenya Airways Virtual, I will work hard to expand the existing route network of the virtual airline to offer our pilots and v-travellers more exciting destinations. As a virtual airline, we are encouraging more pilots to apply as we are currently looking at funding options to buy new aircraft to open new routes. We welcome experienced FSX and FS2004 pilots.”
Kenya Airways virtual currently has 35 aircraft and has the largest intra and inter African route system of all virtual airlines.
