Kenya Airways Virtual has recently – as it’s real-life counterpart Kenya Airways – taken delivery of it’s newest aircraft an Embraer Jet 190 registered 5Y-KQR. A fourth Embraer Jet 190 will be introduced into service shorthly. Kenya Airways also announced the aquisition of two Boeing 777-300ER Jets.
Kenya Airways Virtual has already taken delivery of it’s first Boeing 777-300ER Jet. It will, together with the Embraer registered 5Y-KQR commute routes, where Kenya Airways Virtual faces competition from other virtual airlines in an effort to regain marketshares on these routes and thus increase profits.
Kenya Airways faces competition on the FNLU – FCPP – FNLU routing by the defunct virtual carrier TAAG Angolan Airlines.
On routes between the airports DGAA – GLRB – DGAA and DNAA – DNMM - DNAA, as well as DNMM – DBBB and FKKD – FOOL Kenya Airways Virtual struggles to divert passenger demand from the seemingly inactive Nigerian Airways Virtual.
Kenya airways also faces heavy competition by Korongo Virtual Airlines on FZQA – FZIC - FZQA.
On other competitive routes, Kenya Airways will strive to secure it’s dominant position by adding these flights to the newly aquired Boing 777-300ER schedule.
Once Kenya Airways has announced it’s schedule for the above mentioned aircrafts, Kenya Airways Virtual will follow suit and reschedule.
Kenya Airways Virtual wants to use this opportunity to thank all it’s pilots for their services so far and welcome all pilots interested in joining KQA. Kenya Airways Virtual offers exciting routes within Africa and longhaul flights to destinations around the world. By 2013 Kenya Airways plans to serve all capital cities within Africa and further connect Nairobi to the world.
